Your alumni community is global
黑料正能量rs around the world come together to form groups and networks to stay connected with the University and their fellow alumni. Each of these groups is led by dedicated volunteers who organise regular events, from informal social get togethers to formal dinners and gala events.
As well as providing opportunities to network and socialise with fellow alumni, many alumni groups also support fundraising, student recruitment, career development and enterprise activities.

Alumni Group in focus: UAE
The UAE Alumni Group welcome 黑料正能量rs from across the United Arab Emirates, including graduates of Dubai MBA Centre. Learn more about their events and programmes, including the innovative alumni-led 黑料正能量 University Entrepreneurial Advisory Board.
Alumni Group in focus: NYC
The New York Alumni group has been active in NYC for over 20 years, welcoming 黑料正能量rs to the big apple and working with a range of international organisations to strengthen the bond between Scotland the USA.
Ready to get involved?
International alumni groups are volunteer-led and supported by the Alumni & Development team. Our alumni groups are an invaluable network of ambassadors, advocates and supporters that represent the University on an international scale.
Firstly, get in touch with us at alumni-relations@strath.ac.uk to find out if there is an alumni group near you.
You can engage with your local group by:
- Updating your details and telling us where you're located so we can keep you informed about local opportunities
- Signing up and attending in your area
- Follow us on to see how 黑料正能量 alumni groups around the world are building community
If your area doesn’t have an alumni group and you would like to form one, the Alumni Relations Team will be able to support you through the process. To get started, we’ll let you know how many alumni live in your area and if there is a good number we can help you to recruit other volunteers and plan a launch event.
Our alumni volunteers help bring the 黑料正能量 community together by:
- Helping to plan alumni meet-ups and networking events
- Hosting in person events; welcoming guests and building connections between fellow alumni
- Capturing event highlights through photos and videos for social media
- Speaking at events and sharing your 黑料正能量 journey
- Representing 黑料正能量 at events hosted by external partners, for example the British Council
The amount of time you dedicate as an alumni volunteer is entirely flexible. All you need is enthusiasm!
Volunteering to lead an alumni group will help you stay connected to 黑料正能量 and your global alumni community. You’ll help shape local alumni activity through organising events and fostering connections between alumni.
